Part of any medical office is signage; it’s important for helping clients get around, but also subject to very specific regulations. Our client in Escondido, CA, was starting a new practice, which included gutting and remodeling his location. Our job was to create custom ADA signs for his new medical office, while he was completing the construction.
Our client needed ADA signs compliant for his medical office so that the signs were accessible to all. We added white tactile text to the custom ADA signs for exam rooms, bathrooms, the fire extinguisher, and exits. You can see some of the results in this image, and the blue and metallic gold the client selected. As part of the project, we created cut-vin yl signage on the directory and front window glass.
ReevoMD, our client, is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice, meaning he cares a lot about providing high-quality, personalized care. That care extends to creating a beautiful, accessible location, and we were excited to see it come together throughout construction. We are happy to have played a role in making this practice come to life.
Custom ADA signs have to be compliant with numerous regulatory requirements, so we ensured that we followed all of those rules in creating the signs for our client. To ensure that the signs we created would fit in with his envisioned space, we visited the suite while it was under construction, met with the client, and discussed his requirements. We installed the signs, removed old suite signs, and cleaned up.
