As with any corporation, Clarins has its own set of colors, fonts, logos, and other important branding considerations. A major part of our process was consulting with the head office in NY to create a perfect set of custom storefront signs. We designed and manufactured a matching set of custom signs for this store.
First, the main storefront sign was a new non-illuminated sign onto the storefront façade. We custom fabricated a 3mm thick composite aluminum sign, vinyl coated in red PMS 200, with 1/4″ thick white acrylic lettering applied to face. The overall size measured 27″ tall x 120″wide. The aluminum panel was flush-mounted to wall surface, using screws drilled through panel face to be touched up with matching red vinyl tabs.
Next, the hanging blade sign measured 18″ tall x 36″ wide panel of 1″ thick PVC painted PMS red 200. The logo was custom cut dimensional letters 1/4″ thick white acrylic applied flush to both sides. We supplied the necessary hardware for hanging the sign from the existing sign bracket on the building.
This client and the property had some specific requirements, including installation with a scissor lift with non-marking tires, permit processing with drawings and documents and on-site processing, and accelerated production with a four day lead time after obtaining the permit. We handled all of this with ease, to our client’s great satisfaction, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday grand opening!
