Recently, commercial property manager H.G. Fenton referred a client to us. The client had purchased a building in Carlsbad, CA, but was based in CO. They required custom building signage for their new property.
As you can see in the image, this company has a modern, sleek logo made up of two colors. We created it on the exterior of their new property with 1/2” acrylic letters, using a Pantone orange color, and black, to match the branding. We stud mounted the sign for durability, and the client loved the look.
SamTec opened their new property in Carlsbad, CA, coming from Colorado, but they have a global reach. This tech company provides products to customers in over 125 countries, so clearly, they know how to do business! We love that they care about service, and wanted to reflect that with a professional exterior logo sign.
To properly install this new logo for SamTec, we first had to address what was left behind when the previous tenant moved out. We removed all of the old signage, patched and painted, and installed the new logo sign all on a tight deadline so our client could open without delay.
We started the process by re-creating their company logo in a vector format for sign production, taking photos and measurements during a site survey, and scaling that vector for placement on the building exterior. After creating the design proof in this manner, we had the client approve it, then submitted it for landlord approval. We also completed the permitting process with the city to ensure everything was in place. Our client was delighted with the quick turnaround.
We aim to please with all of our custom building signage projects, so this was not out of the norm for us.
