Supporting Community Connections with Custom Event Signs
Since 2012, North Coast Signs has been heavily involved with the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. Over the last 12 years, this relationship has provided us the opportunity to connect with other local businesses and give back to our community. One of the premier events organized by the Chamber is its biannual Carlsbad Village Street Faire, which draws over 100,000 people from all over Southern California.
Held every first Sunday in May and November, the Street Faire transforms Carlsbad Village into an active hub featuring:
- 900 Arts and Crafts Booths: Unique creations by local and regional artisans.
- International Food Court: A wide variety of global cuisines is available.
- Kids’ Rides and Entertainment: Amusing activities focusing on kids of all ages.
- Entertainment Stage and Beer Garden: Live music, craft brews.
A Closer Look at the Project
With such a large turnout foreseen, communication via structure signs was going to create the success of the production. Our team designed and produced:
- 9 Road Closed Signs: These signs are located and placed to safely control and direct visitors around closures.
- 9 Promotional Signs: These are positioned for promotional purposes, highlighting event attractions that guests should not miss.
- 2 Parking Lot Signs: Guiding attendees to designated parking areas, reducing confusion and traffic congestion.
Each sign was fabricated from 4mm thick Coroplast, one of the most durable yet light materials, in a 48″ x 32″ size. We utilized innovative technology for direct printing with high-vibrant colors and weather-resistant finishes to make them suitable for outdoor usage.
