Save on Resorts, our client in Carlsbad, needed a new exterior building sign that could be seen well at in the daytime and at night. After consulting with them to understand their needs, and reviewing the landlord’s sign criteria, we created a beautiful proposal. The final decision was the illuminated reverse pan letters, which have a halo-lit glow. This is an ideal solution for the illuminated building sign! The building sign clearly lights up at night and can be seen from a distance, as well as looking great during the day.

We worked with Save on Resorts’ landlord to acquire approval and the letter of authorization we needed to secure the sign permit with the City of Carlsbad Planning & Building Departments. We process sign permits for all of our clients who require it, and truly offer full service where we take care of every detail. After several revisions, we ultimately needed to work with the landlord and the city to revise the building sign wireway and construction to meet their criteria allowance. Again, part of the services we happily offer.
With all of the right permits and documents in place, we were ready to begin production on this beautiful building sign.
The custom fabricated, illuminated reverse pan letter sign featured 23.5” tall letters with the Save on Resorts logo, on a 24” by 306” by 2” wireway. The hinged wireway was painted the exterior building color, with the logo letters the specific Pantone colors of the clients’ logo. The installation work was completed by our team using a 40’ articulating boom lift. The electrical was supplied to the sign location by the client’s electrician, along with a timer and the switch labeled at the electrical panel. We are always sure to complete the job with the right equipment so our clients can rest assured that everything is done safely and securely.
Once the sign was fully installed, we acquired the final permit inspection with the City of Carlsbad, insuring the permit was validated.
