North Coast Signs proudly announces being selected to wrap Callaway Golf’s 2013 Tour Support Services trailers!
Callaway Golf PGA Tour Truck and Trailer 2013
When one of the leading golf companies in the world contacted us for vehicle
wraps, we jumped at the chance to exceed expectations. Callaway Golf,
located in Carlsbad, CA, specializes in golf clubs and golf equipment of all
kinds. They had two professional golf tour support service trailers that
needed to be fully wrapped. North Coast Signs is thrilled to have been
selected to do the job for 2013! Two Tour Trailer Wraps!
Callaway’s new X Hot product line for 2013 was the feature to be promoted on
their two tour trailers. These are the hottest new golf clubs in the game
today, designed for X-tra distance. If you’re a golfer, and can use some
extra distance (and who couldn’t), be sure to try the new X Hot family of
clubs from Callaway.
Before we could begin the job, we had to remove the 2012 graphics from last
year tour trailer wraps. Once the old graphics were removed, the original paint was thoroughly
cleaned and ready for the new makeover. Due to a wrap of this size, the
big rig had to be moved indoors to ensure the graphics application was at
the highest level of quality and consistency. The weather was forecasted
for cold, rain and some wind, a combination that would make outdoor
Thankfully, we partnered with Rollin’ Renches in Vista to get to wrap the
big rig indoors. Conditions are easier to control indoors, which allowed us
to insure that the final result would be as close to perfection as possible.
Custom printed, cut and applied stripes are on the cab of the powerful and
stylish PGA Tour International LoneStar Truck. The trailer features 5
different pop-outs which expand to make the truck into a fully functional
workshop on wheels at Tour events. Our installation also included brand
logo and product features on the ends of each pop-out, in addition to
applying window perforation on on all windows. Leaving no detail unnoticed,
we also wrapped both sides of the side entry door and applied window perf to
the sliding glass door into the workspace. So whether the door is open or
closed, the overall effect of the graphic remains in-tact.
The web.com International truck (see photo) is fully custom and has extreme curves, which proved challenging. With the skilled expertise of our installers, plus some precision and patience we rose above the challenge and conquered the beast.
If it’s a large full vehicle wrap, similar to the Callaway tour trailer wrap, or a
small partial wrap for a sports car, North Coast Signs can handle it. Just
