Our client, Renovate America, wanted a unique and eye-catching display for their lobby. We had created cable display systems on other floors in their previous building, as the company grew yearly and had more space to use. Then, they purchased another building and wanted a free-standing display, which we created using rods instead of wire cables.
Renovate America, of course, knows a lot about making things look good. This company works hard to provide home improvement financing, empowering homeowners to take ownership of their homes, lower utility bills, and enjoy more comfortable surroundings. Renovate America engages communities, partners with industry contractors and manufacturers, and overall does a lot to make a difference for homeowners in this country. We are proud to have worked with this client in the past and look forward to partnering with them in the future.
This particular project was one that we really enjoyed. The display for the lobby was set up to feature the seals of municipalities where the Renovate America Hero Program is in place, printed in full color on frosted acrylic tiles. The client had a powerful image in mind, and we made it happen.
To create the cable-free system we adapted the tiles for the hardware, innovating to come up with something truly unique. We installed the new rod system with 29 initial columns, inserting bracket fixing onto the track spaced to accurately affix vertical rods and adjusting the tensioning spring as needed. We spaced and leveled each tile, 11 per column, for a total of 296 gorgeous municipal seals, printed on matte laminate, weeded, masked, and applied. The system can accommodate up to 352 tiles, carefully installed on the aluminum clear anodized finish rods.
It was an ambitious undertaking, and it worked — several clients who walked in loved it so much we’ve done other displays, after those clients saw and enjoyed the cable and rod displays at Renovate America.
We can’t think of a more appealing or engaging way to make a great first impression, in a lobby space, a boardroom, or other area of a business with the space to handle a large scale display. If it’s something that sounds like it would fit in your space, let’s make it happen. Call 760.536.5454 or email firstname.lastname@example.org today.
