For property owners and landlords, a consistent and appealing look for signs can make a huge difference in the success of the overall location, and individual tenant’s enjoyment of your space. Our client, MGE Properties in Vista, CA, knew the power of quality signage and that’s why they contacted us to create formed plastic dimensional letter signs for the strip mall property they purchased.
MGE Properties is San Diego-based, specializing in buying, leasing, managing, and selling of investment properties in the region. For their tenants, they provide quality spaces and top service. They set the standard for client satisfaction in the region, and that’s because they care about helping tenants succeed through projects like this sign facelift.
For each tenant, we created a full set of formed-plastic dimensional letters, in Roman Classic font. All letters were consistently sized at 10″ high, in all capitals and colored a duranodic bronze shade. We also made a few secondary signs in a custom font, again in a duranodic bronze acrylic, mounted appropriately to the facade be it directly to the surface or using a panel painted to match the existing building body color. So, whether one of the standardized signs, or one that needed a bit of extra finesse, the result was a perfectly matching, consistent and comprehensive look across the entire mini mall.
Part of our work involved permitting with the City of Vista, which required a comprehensive sign program on file. We didn’t let that stop us; in fact, we worked to create the comprehensive sign program for our client, with all of the appropriate documentation and definitions of criteria in accordance with the city’s needs. We submitted the application and ensured processing through to completion, taking this time-consuming aspect of signage creation off of our client’s hands and into our capable team’s responsibilities.
When we work with clients, we always make sure to do everything the way it should be done, the first time, and that’s why it was well worth completing permitting for MGE Properties, as well as putting in the effort to consult with our client until they were happy with our planned design. From creating renderings for the city to completing the actual installation for our client, we were happy to provide complete service.
